Toy and her best friend, Ericka have a lot in common. They both served time in the military, they are both successful in their own rite, and they’re both hiding things from each other and other people. Behind Ericka’s tough talk and rough exterior hides a woman who has been holding on to years of pain from a devastating loss. Timid and unsure Toy has managed to bag a successful and doting fiancée, despite the scars she carries from years of emotional abuse from her mother and a physical assault her senior year. Both women seem to be in a good place in their lives right now. But little do they know; trouble is on the horizon. Just when they think they finally have smooth sailing, a dark cloud looms ahead signaling more troubled waters for the two friends. And they will have to navigate this storm together. Can they make it out alive? Or will they be consumed along with everything else in its path?
